Bulimia, also known as bulimia nervosa, is a deadly and horrifying eating disorder in which an individual believes they are fat or overweight and lose weight through unhealthy and dangerous methods. Will eating foods that contain trans-fats affect my goals to build muscle mass and gain healthy weight. Many skinny individuals feel that they have to eat a ton of everything in order to gain muscle weight. Basically, trans fats or trans fatty acids, as they are called , are an unnatural fat that is formed or created whenever you fry or overheat oil, like vegetable or corn oil. When the elements that make up these oils are heated to an extremely high temperature like when you fry , they mutate and turn into trans fats. Also, manufacturers of different foods and snacks use a process in which they take vegetable oil and convert it to hydrogenated oil, which turns the oil into a solid that can be used to make certain snacks. That hydrogenation process turns a normal oil into a trans fat. So what does this have to do with trying to build muscle mass and gain weight??. Check these little facts out: Harvard scientists estimate that trans fats may contribute to more than 30, 000 premature deaths each year. Since trans fats aren t found naturally in...

I know how skeptical people typically are about motivational pictures. Everyone has seen and got fed up with that tripe posted on the partition walls of their cubicles some stranger conquering an impossible mountain against the canvas of a magnificent sunrise with some stupid caption about persistence , or excellence under it, or some poor little kitten cutie struggling to hang on to the edge of a table with her babyish claws, beneath which is inscribed, invariably in corresponding bubbly cutesy letters, hang on . Hey, you might not believe me when I tell you this. If I were a listener like you, I would probably not believe in it either. Nonetheless, I have an urge to tell you this simple yet rarely acknowledged fact that nothing inspires people quite as much as aerobic pictures to get fit and back in shape. It is considered a sign of very low refinement even to put such thing up, let alone to confess to be motivated by them unless you are a middle manager, in which case low refinement is considered more of a virtue than a vice. However, at least...

Any lover of wines will tell you that a good palate is not something one is born with. It is a skill that is acquired over a long course of time and education. For those of you who are not yet loves of this fine liquid, a little education may be in order. There are basically four types of wine: red, white, blush or rose , and champagne and contrary to popular belief, good wine doesn t come in a box, that is unless it s a small box that has been gift wrapped. For my purposes here I will focus on red and white wines, as they are by far the most common. The general rule about red and white wines has for years been that in general if you are eating a more delicate dish such as chicken or fish you should choose a subtle wine that won t overpower the dish. That is why red wine is traditionally associated with darker meats and white wine with lighter meats and vegetable dishes. This rule however, is not inviolate and if you are spending your hard earned money, you should be able to drink whatever you darned well please with your dinner. But hey, that s...

Your dream characters are great sources for insights about you and your life and it can be lots of fun meeting and getting to know them. By the end of this article, you will have a better idea of why we dream about particular people, even those we never give any thought to, such as your Aunt Betty, or that seldom seen neighbor down the street. Dream characters in general, are like actors in a play, each one portraying a different part of yourself. They are performing roles to share information about you and the current events going on in your life. These characters will include animals as well. The first step in meeting your dream characters is to get your dream down on paper. It is very important that you do this on your own. There really isn t any other person or dream dictionary around that is going to be able to relate to them as well as you can. Once you ve written down your dream, list any characters that appeared whether you knew them by name or not. Think about what the character was doing and what the aspect being portrayed might be. If...
